CMPD established a ‘Citizens Review Board’ which is set to hold the police accountable. Henry Black who is the chair person, is being charged with numerous counts of statutory rape, incest, indecent liberties and more. Documents state that the assaults occurred as early as 1996-2018. According to WSOC, Black was appointed to this board in 2014. Legal documents were filled Sept.3rd and Black was arrested and is being expedited back to Charlotte, where he will be charged! The story is still developing, CMPD is asking that all victims come forward as the investigation is underway.
