Fightball Tournament

There’s only one rule in #FIGHTBALL – ball hard.

The “world’s most intense” one-on-one basketball tournament returned to New York City last week with not one, but two electrifying tournaments. Tournament organizers searched far and wide for the best street ballers around the world. All sixteen contestants picked to participate in the grueling tournament possess unrivaled skill, endurance, strength, and unwavering heart.

On Thursday (March 2), #FIGHTBALL was taken to a new level with a surprise performance from Harlem rapper A$AP Ferg and total court domination from Marvin “Money Ova Fame” Roberts, who took home $10,000 for the win.

Despite Thursday’s intense matchup, #FIGHTBALL heated up even more on Friday (March 3), when Andrew “Spongebob” Washington commanded the court with extreme control and fierce energy, beating out Steven Ruple Jr. and Brazilian baller Leandro De Lima. Tensions were eased when Harlem’s own Cam’ron performed a medley of hits, including “Down & Out,” “Oh Boy,” and “The Dipset Anthem.”

The #FIGHTBALL championship will feature eight of the tournament’s top finishers from both nights and is slated to go down this Thursday at New York City’s SIR/Stage 37. Legendary DJ Clark Kent will be on the ones and twos for another night of hard-hitting basketball, and the winner will take home a grand prize of $100,000.
