Mecklenburg County officials declared a State Of Emergency Sunday to help stop the spread of the coronavirus. The move came after two more residents tested positive for COVID-19. That brings the Mecklenburg County total 4 and the state total cases to 32. Gov. Roy Cooper has closed schools, shut down large gatherings and has asked employees to work from home is possible.
