If being in the house with your kids for two weeks was a headache, you better just be happy with that. Governor Roy Cooper has extended the 2 weeks closure of NC Public School to May 15th. He’s not giving up on the school year yet, but still thinks its more to be done in the weeks coming.
“I’m not ready to give up on this year of school,” Cooper said, adding a message to parents who are now homeschooling. “I know this is extremely difficult for you and your children, but this is what we need to do to slow the spread of this virus.”
Kids enjoy this time away from school, but still do your regular assignments! As of now, Graduation ceremonies will not be affected. But that could still change as well, being that most Colleges have canceled amid the spread of Covid19.
