FOX Sports broadcasting legend, Tim Brando joined Jeff Rickard to discuss the College Football Playoff Committee’s decision to leave FSU out and instead put Alabama in. Tim was not happy at all with the decision to not include FSU, claiming that the committee leaving out a 13-0 football team that continued to win down the stretch even without their starting QB deserved to get the opportunity to play for the National Championship.
Tim Brando also said that the committee’s decision clearly shows that they just wanted the best possible matchup for TV, saying that this decision was about “money, power, and greed”. He went on to say “This is the reason we need a second [network] carrier for the postseason” and that leaving Florida State out of the playoff for Alabama is clear proof that one network is in charge of the College Football Postseason narrative.
