Safaree Samuels, best known as Nicki Minaj’s ex and least known for his fashion sense, strutted into her Pink Friday 2 Miami concert on October 6th in full troll mode. His weapon of choice? A jean vest—an unfortunate callback to the one he sported in Nicki’s documentary My Truth. In a classic moment from the doc, Safaree once tried to give Nicki fashion advice, only for her to shut him down with the now-legendary clapback: “Please, you wore a jean vest.” And here he was, doubling down on the very crime she roasted him for.

The Barbz, however, were not impressed. The crowd wasn’t here for denim nostalgia, and things got so bad, some claim his security team had to shuffle him out like an unwanted jean vest at a Gucci store.

Fans roasted him online, with one witty Barb writing, “No MALICE? You’re out here in the vest, and you think it’s casual?!? This is stalk-ish behavior, Safaree!” In response, Safaree doubled down, tweeting, “I’m proud no cap… no malice.” But honestly, the only thing missing was his dignity—and sleeves.

Meanwhile, Nicki casually brought her hubby Kenneth Petty on stage, reminding everyone that she had no interest in Safaree or his trolling.
