New Rides & Waves Coming To Carowinds

In 2026, Carowinds will debut a groundbreaking water ride that will set new records, as part of a massive $1 billion investment from its parent company, Six Flags Entertainment Corp.

This announcement comes on the heels of an exciting expansion in 2025, which will see the debut of Camp Snoopy. The expansion will feature a new roller coaster, Snoopy’s Racing Railway, as well as Charlie Brown’s River Raft Blast, an interactive raft ride. According to Six Flags, this will represent the largest investment in family-oriented attractions in the park’s history.

As part of Six Flags’ latest investment, announced this week, the company plans to invest $500 million in 2025 and $525 million in 2026. The funding will go toward new rides, attractions, themed areas, dining enhancements, and advanced technology across its parks.
