YG stopped by Power 106 to talk about his new album Still Krazy. The album is the follow up to his critically praised debut My Krazy Life. YG talked a bit about the difference between recording his new album versus his first one.

“Everything was difficult with this album. Just the producer side of things, recording, putting it together, really getting my story off…The mixing part was very difficult due to the fact that bro [MixedBy]Ali, he got a lot of stuff going on right now, he popping.

Still Krazy will be out next month.

Chicago’s Joey Purp is back to talk about all the “Girls” with partner-in-rhyme Chance the Rapper. The song is a stripped down number but offers plenty of bounce as the two trade rhymes about all manners of men and women interactions. The song is in support of Joey’s iiiDrops album that’ll be dropping next Friday on May 27th.

“With help from some familiar names like Vic Mensa, Mick Jenkins, Donnie Trumpet, Chance The Rapper and more, the SaveMoney co-founder aims to make his biggest splash yet.”

Clams Casino really got his name popping back when he was doing beats for A$AP Rocky. Since then, the New Jersey native has gone on to work with a number of elite rappers in the game. He’s slowed his output lately, but that might be changing as he recently released “Blast.” “Blast” is an instrumental that sounds like it could’ve been a leftover from Rocky’s earlier work, which means that the signature sound that brought him into the game is very apparent here. The song is in support of his album, 32 Levels, which will be out on July 15th.
