Well-known Charlotte rapper Cam Coldheart dies unexpectedly, according to multiple reports.

Just 33-years-old, Cam Coldheart died on Saturday, April 24 of an unknown cause. He was an ‘up and coming artist in the area with over 100,000 followers.

Cam Coldheart went viral after an altercation with another Charlotte rapper, DaBaby in May 2019. The two exchanged words after running into each other at a store in South Park Mall.


They met again and a physical altercation occurred between DaBaby, his bodyguard and Cam Coldheart. In a video posted to social media, Cam Coldheart was left unconscious after the fight and Dababy and his bodyguard fled the scene.

Fans and people who knew Cam Coldheart have been paying their respects to his passing by leaving ‘RIP’ messages under his last Instagram post, which was posted two days ago.


Reports say Cam Coldheart’s aunt confirmed his death on Instagram under the account name ‘@empresstia_majesticplus’.

She wrote, “We supposed to make it to the top together!!! I’m going to miss us encouraging each other and giving each other our props!!! You was doing the damn thing!!! You were a Master 11 and very successful but you didn’t even fully tap into what the Universe had for you… Nevertheless I’m still proud of all your accomplishments Cam Henegan and having a front row seat to your growth was an honor and a privilege… I love you NEPHEW!!!”
