Houston Rockets v Charlotte Hornets

The Hornets had no issues with the Huston Rockets on Monday, disposing of them 123-99 in what was their largest margin of victory of the season. Terry Rozier led the way for team in the win, dropping 27 points on 10-17 shooting from the field and 7-12 from beyond the arc, but the bench production led by Kelly Oubre Jr. and Nick Richards was once again a big part of the success in this one.

Sam Farber, the radio play-by-play voice of the Charlotte Hornets, joined the Mac Attack earlier this morning to discuss why the depth has been such a big part of the success for the Hornets this season.

“This team is just much, much deeper. You’ve got Kelly Oubre Jr.: he’s solid, he is qualified for sure to be a starter, but he has not necessarily reached all-star caliber status based off of his statistics to this point in his career. You compare him to everyone else’s sixth man, you’re talking Sixth Man of the Year candidate and a serious one. I think that is one of the differences here.”

The Hornets will return to action tomorrow night when they face the Indiana Pacers in Indy as the Hornets look to close the calendar year with a win. Kyle Bailey and Travis “T-Bone” Hancock will have the Hornets pregame show for you starting at 6:00 PM on Wednesday and Sam Farber will call the action starting at 7:00 PM here on the home of the Hornets, Sports Radio FNZ.
