What are you doing on New Year’s Eve? It looked like New Year’s Eve was going to be “normal” again. That’s kind of changed. The omicron and delta COVID variants are coming to the party too.
What are your plans?
Cities around the country are canceling New Year’s Eve plans or have decided to scale back events.
New York city scaled back Time Square festivities. In Los Angeles, a New Year’s Eve party in LA’s Grand Park won’t have an in-person crowd. In Seattle, the Space Needle also won’t have a New Year’s Eve crowd for the second year in a row. And in Atlanta, their New Year’s Eve Peach Drop is canceled due to the COVID spike and safety.
