New Nickname Alert! King of the Gunshot, Fivio Foreign had plenty to tell us before hitting the stage at Dreamville Festival.
Eric Kelley II had the opportunity to connect and ask him about his collaborations with Kanye West, Alicia Keys and City Girls, his thoughts on Drill Music and where it stands, plus the new Song “We Go Up” with the Queen of Rap, Nicki Minaj.
Who knew Eric was a barb (we all did!) and he wanted to know how Fivio got Nicki to drop the song when she claimed she was going to scrap it.
“Me and her been talking about doing a drill song. and that was a perfect song, perfect moment, perfect time. ‘I need what you got”. She sent over the beat and i sent over the verse.And she was like “oh nah we gotta put this out now.””
Foreign also touched base on what drill music is doing hip-hop and how he was going to take it even further.
