The Game

When The Game isn’t posting thirst traps on Instagram or engaging in short-lived Internet beefs, he’s busy dropping really good music.

His latest offering comes from The Documentary 2/2.5 collector’s set and is titled “Ride Solo.” The song is a lyrical exercise in what Game is actually capable of. Backed by piano and no baseline, Jayceon raps about the life and times of growing up in Compton, which involves backstabbing friends and promiscuous lady friends he just can’t seem to escape. In the end, all he’s got is himself, so with no other choice, he’s gotta ride solo.

The stripped down track is one of four new ones on the album collector’s set. The others include the sex-charged and Trey Songz-assisted “Do It To You,” “The Soundtrack” with Meek Mill, and “El Chapo” featuring Skrillex.
