Why Do People Love Kevin Gates? Kevin Gates has been the center of many controversy’s but after each display of action, he seems to captivate a bigger following. Is it a marketing scheme to get people to know who he is? I tend to believe that’s not so! It’s just Kevin being Kevin! Kevin has carried tons of weight on his shoulders and isn’t afraid to share his trials and tribulations with the world simply being that others opinions don’t matter. If you are unfamiliar with Gates and the BWA movement you must have be sleeping underneath a rock for the past year and a half! His audience has been one of the fastest growing movements this generation has seen. Even though he has been putting in work the past 10 years being independent has made Gates that much more passionate about his career and music. Gates pours his heart in every mixtape from his Luca Brasi volumes to his on stage performance. He redefines one of the lessons our parents taught us when we were younger which is to never judge a book by it’s cover. Lots of things such as his Instagram page from him telling the world I Don’t Get Tired to his open battle with depression, Gates movement is real and one that we will not see come to an end anytime soon!
