A total of seven families affected by the Flint water crisis are taking their grievances to court after their lead-poisoned children reportedly went through developmental changes last year.

Ryan Coogler, Ava DuVernay, Hannibal Buress, Jesse Williams, and Janelle Monáe appeared at the free fundraiser in Flint, Mich., to raise awareness and money to help assuage the city's water crisis, as well as bring attention to the human rights violations Flint residents have suffered.
