St. Augustine College in Raleigh, North Carolina,The focus of attention; as its accreditation has been revoked. The university was under review. The Saint Augustine SACSCOC decided to revoke the institution’s accreditation back in December.

St. Augustine College is more than just a historically black college; it is the home of numerous successful students who came from all walks of life to pursue higher education. Why are certain historically black colleges clinging on to their existence in the face of widespread support for HBCUs from well-known celebrities and public figures?

Financial aid is a significant worry for students, as those attending non-accredited colleges are ineligible to obtain it. Given that financial help is received by 85% of SAU students, this is a serious concern.
